Roskachestvo informs about the start of a competition for a prize for achievements in the development of Russian organic products. Both subjects of the Russian Federation and certified producers of organic products, retail organizations, organizations engaged in online trading, the media, bloggers, and youth can take part in it.
The competition is held by the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Agricultural and Food Policy and Environmental Management jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the ANO “Russian Quality System”.
Its objectives are to stimulate the development of the organic products market, develop healthy lifestyle habits among Russians, protect the environment and introduce the principles of sustainable development of organic agriculture, and encourage best practices in the development of organic production in Russia.
The National Competence Center for the Development of Organic and “Green” Products of Roskachestvo, which serves as the secretariat of the competition, has begun accepting applications. All nominations and criteria can be viewed on the Roskachestvo website in the section “Russian quality system - Competition for a prize for the development of Russian organic products (roskachestvo.gov.ru).”
Applications for participation are accepted until March 10, 2023 in a special section Roskachestvo website (National Organic Award), as well as by email. mail organic@roskachestvo.gov.ru.
