Ugra is a key region of the country, where a solid economic foundation is combined with powerful momentum for development. Historically, it has fostered a pioneering spirit — one that drives progress and delivers on ambitious goals. Today, this spirit shapes our economic course.
The autonomous okrug confidently holds the top position in Russia in terms of electricity generation and enjoys a surplus of capacity to support large-scale digital, industrial and energy-intensive projects. Additional competitive advantages are offered by the Arctic Zone of Ugra: favourable regimes, reduced interest rates and the “Arctic Hectare” programme. We have built a system where every investor receives a stable environment for long-term growth. And we are open to your projects! Welcome to Ugra!
